During this workshop, you'll learn about ingredients that can be found locally and have been used traditionally to make or flavor beers. But we'll go much further than that and explore local native plants, berries and ingredients that you can use to create unique Southern California brews.

This can include traditional ingredients such as horehound, yarrow, mugwort, alder bark, some specific tree leaves, etc... but we'll go much further and include some interesting local plants and berries such yerba santa, manzanita berries, local willow barks or California sagebrush.  Don't forget wild yeast and natural sugar sources.
